This section contains answers and suggestions you can follow relating to the most commonly asked questions on our LPG and methane heaters.

  • Try to bring the L-shaped wire (placed on the glow plug) close to the electrode.
  • When charging the heater check the ignition wire (white) has not moved out of position. Otherwise try to reinsert it.
  • If the problem persists contact a Technical Assistance Centre.
  • Check there is gas in the cylinder.
  • Check the valve of the gas cylinder or of the methane gas network is open.
  • Check the electrode produces the spark; otherwise bring L–shaped wire close to thermocouple.
  • Dust may have clogged the stick of the pilot flame; blow with compressed air.
  • If the pilot flame ignites but it is not attached to the stick air is present in the cylinder. Try to ignite it again. If the problem persists take the gas cylinder out of the heater and open the cylinder tap for a few seconds to release the air. This operation must be done outdoors.

  • Dust and sediments contained in the gas cylinder may have clogged the nozzle through which the gas passes directly into the burner. Whilst charging the heater close to the nozzles and gas fittings, clean with compressed air.
  • If the problem persists contact a Technical Assistance Centre.
  • You are probably using it in a poorly ventilated room. The heater is equipped with a device that switches it off automatically, if the CO2 is higher than 1.5 %. Use only in well-ventilated areas and there must be continuous air change.
  • If the problem persists contact a Technical Assistance Centre.
  • If the catalytic heater emits “hot flashes” it is very likely that the panel is damp. Make it work for a few hours and then recheck.
  • In infrared ray heaters, dust may have clogged the nozzles. Clean with compressed air.
  • If the problem persists contact a Technical Assistance Centre.

  • Check the plug is correctly inserted into the socket.
  • Check the switch on the heater is on.

  • It is possible that the heater has been made function by resting it on the floor, without being positioned on the wall or on the specific feet provided. This position is wrong. The heater should be placed on the floor with its specific feet or fixed to the wall at a minimum height of 20 cm from the floor.
  • If the problem persists contact a Technical Assistance Centre.
  • The difference between the two stoves lies in the type of burner: in the mod. Eco40 / 42T heating is horizontal / frontal with a 3-tile burner and 3 power levels (min / med / max); in the Eco45 model the heating goes from the bottom to the top, with a visible flame burner placed behind a glass with 2 power levels (min / max).
